Amazon Fire TV users can not play Amazon Video and the following error screen is displayed on TV:

We're unable to connect to Amazon Video. Please verify your device's Internet connection.
Error Code: PLR_PRS_CALL_FAILED

This issue happens a lot in the UK, Germany, India and Japan.
Amazon Prime Video on Fire TV is down
Since many Fire TV users have been facing this problem from the same time, Amazon Prime Video seems to be down now.
However, I can watch videos on Amazon Prime Video using Web browsers (Windows Chrome) and iOS app.
Try to watch videos using another devices or apps.
